Video: Meet The Heroes (And Actors) Of The New ‘Star Wars’ TV Show
Disney has released a new video introducing us to the hero characters from the new Star Wars television seriesLEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. The show will premiere on Disney XD this summer, but this video gives us a sneak peek into the characters of this new adventure and also reveals the voice actors behind the new heroes. The new series will follow three sibling scavengers who, with the help of their droid Roger and a female warrior named Naare (who appears to be a Jedi?), begin a quest across the galaxy to retrieve the Kyber Crystals before the Emperor does. There was once a Kyber Saber, a lighsaber made of Kyber Crystals. When it proved to be too powerful, the Jedi Master shattered it, and scattered the crystals throughout the galaxy, to keep the power out of evil hands.
During the series' premiere week, Disney XD will debut a new episode each day, beginning Monday, June 20 through Thursday, June 23. The first episode will also be available via Video on Demand (VOD) and the Disney XD app for users on tablets, phones, set top boxes and computers on Monday, June 20.
