Josh Brolin Knows The Entire ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Story, And It Gave Him Goose Pimples
Phase Three of Marvel’s cinematic universe only just kicked off earlier this summer with the arrival ofCaptain America: Civil War. That means we have two years and a handful of new Marvel movies before we get to see where all this is leading inThe Avengers: Infinity War. The first part of the two-part sequel arrives in 2018 with the second part following in 2019. ButJosh Brolin, the man who plays the mad titan Thanos, already knows the whole story.
In a new interview, Josh Brolin revealed that he has heard the entire story forThe Avengers: Infinity War, and the good news is that he said he was “blown away” and he got “goose pimples” while listening to it unfold.
From an interview withMoviefone, here’s Josh Brolin onAvengers Infinity Warstory:
Yeah, I sat at a table and I listened to the story from beginning to end, which was … you know, sometimes you go around and you go, ‘Oh, it’s a great movie. Or this is a great experience,; and you kind of know that it’s not. This is the opposite…These stories … these Avengers stories all come down to this conclusion, and that’s our involvement. Basically, my character against everybody. And it’s really fun what they’ve chosen to do with the story. I think it’s brilliant, personally. I was blown away, and had goose pimples pretty much 50% of the time that I was listening to what was going on, and pretty amazed that I’m going to be involved in it. So it’s a big thing that’s coming up.
Since Josh Brolin hasn’t had much to do in the Marvel cinematic universe just yet, his level of excitement sounds like it’s just as high as ours. There have been more than hints throughout several of these Marvel franchises that the Infinity Gauntlet story was on the horizon, and with confirmation thatat least one member of theGuardians of the Galaxyandforthcoming superheroCaptain Marvel(whomay be played by Brie Larson) will be involved, this really will be Thanos againsteverybody.
