Abrams would be pitching theStar Wars: Episode IXstory to him today (July 28, 2025).Jurassic Worlddirector Colin Trevorrow was announced to helmStar Wars: Episode IXback in 2015, and remained attached to the film up until early this year, where Trevorrow left the film.
