We’ve got more information after the jump.
The coolest part of the whole thing is that your ticket will only cost $20 and they are on sale now.Click here, pop in your zip code, and purchase tickets.
Harry Potter fans know that it’s 100% necessary to be familiar withOrder of the PhoenixandHalf Blood PrincebeforeDeathly Hallows. The events in those two stories – the creation of the Order and Harry/Voldemort’s discovery of the Prophecy in the fifth film, followed by Harry’s discovery of Horcruxes and the death of a major character in the sixth one, are the four most important events leading up toDeathly Hallows Part 1. So, being able to watch those movies, back on the big screen with a bunch of devoted Potter fans, seems like the best possible way to get ready for the penultimate film. Plus, with the film not going to be in 3D, there’s no need to worry about where you see the film.
The only major problem with this marathon is that if you have friends or family who work, getting to a movie at 6 p.m. on a Thursday and then not leaving the theater until 2:30 a.m. might not be feasible. If it is, though, it sounds awesome.
Do any of you already have your Potter tickets? Are you excited about this event or will you just stay home and watch the films on your own time?
